The cruise ship Oasis of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship when it is launched in December 2009. We will be waiting for this giant vessel, because definitely it will be among the most beautiful cruise ships built ever. The ship will have capacity for 5,400 passengers and this is much more from each other cruise ship. In classification of ships we will meet some more cruise ships with such rank, but a little bit smaller and again property of Royal Caribbean Cruises. The cruise ship Oasis of the seas will have length of about 360 meters and beam of 47 meters. The deadweight of the ship will be 220,000 metric tons and the draft will be 9 meters. The Wartislla engine will be able to realize speed of 25.0 knots. The ship is also the most expensive cruise ship built ever, so we will wait for launching of this vessel. Later this year is planned the launch of another large and luxury cruise ship - Costa Concordia.
